The RiceTable is the only restaurant in Singapore to serve an authentic Dutch Rijsttafel. Coined by the Dutch the term 'Rijsttafel' literally means ricetable and refers to a table (tafel) filled with a variety of meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sambals and sauces all to be taken with a helping of rice (rijst). The RiceTable presents its rijsttafel in a modern Dutch way by laying out the different dishes on a 'rechaud' or food warmer. Sample the milder dishes first and work your way to the more fiery ones. Both lunch and dinner are all you can eat, so feel free to experiment and combine the dishes to discover new flavour combinations. Every spoonful should be a new sensation! Take your time to savour each dish and enjoy the different, yet rich flavours of the RiceTable.
